This video is based on recordings of the ecology of marine life taken during a four-year period by the Iwasaki Laboratory, Usa Marine Biological Institute, Kochi University, Japan.
The material in this video was filmed using video equipment on a seafloor observatory designed for monitoring submarine earthquakes. The observatory is run by JAMSTEC, the Japan Marine Science and Technology Center.
